In November 2016, I joined the civil service as a senior leader and I brought a range of skills and expertise to the civil service following a 20 year career in Chemical manufacturing, Energy, Water and Nuclear sectors. I have drive and passion to make a difference in all I do and I am motivated best when that drive results in supporting people and wider teams producing a positive result.
I joined the Home office as Chief Commercial Officer in July 2020. My previous role was in Crown Commercial Service (CCS) leading the Buildings Pillar which incorporated Workplace and FM, Construction and Utilities & Fuel.
Development of people and teams is core to my beliefs as a senior leader and to do this in a fair and transparent way resulting in diverse and inclusive thoughts. I truly value difference and keen to learn about others to compliment my understanding of other experiences and lenses of the world.
I am based in the North West and I am advocate for places for growth and chair of the Northern commercial council to enable better integration and support the best talent to grow in the civil service.
