Transformation for Success

As part of the Transformation for Success programme, the Santander UK Procurement team commenced our journey in 2021. Our vision was focused around around the deployment of strategies to:

- Build significant capability - Align behind the business - Release significant value This provided the rare opportunity to reimagine the role of Procurement. Our new Operating Model was established and split roles into six capability groups with ownership of the end-to-end supplier lifecycle. We didn't have the luxury to transform and then deliver; we had to do both in parallel. Our ethos was to Think Big, Get Stuff Done whilst Having some Fun!
