Transformation at Speed & Volume During a Global Pandemic

During the global pandemic, with disrupted supply chains, Randox built and sustained amongst the largest PCR laboratories in the world. 80,000 sqft of laboratories were operationalised and 25 million PCR tests processed; capacity increased from 300 to 120,000 tests/day. Critically, laboratory processes were never hampered by supply shortages across over 3,000 line items. Efficiencies reduced prices to customers by ~60% overall.

As independent review determined that sustained Randox testing averted over 3,100 deaths, 14,100 hospitalisations and enabled £8.3 billion of economic activity within the UK, with an additional £2.49 billion of wider global activity. This is procurement and supply success.
