In 2018 Procurement was identified as a team which had significant potential but was not performing. The team was costing more than it was saving and had the lowest engagement scores in the company. Funding was agreed to support a transformation plan. We focused on professionalism, great service, celebrating great deals and increasing benefits. We now have company leading engagement scores and have significantly over delivered on benefits. We are also recognised by our stakeholders for sourcing strategically and positively impacting their businesses. Procurement is now recognised as a high performing team and a role model for leading transformational change.
