Sunrise Senior Living’s Procurement Team had to hit one of the biggest media concerns of 2020 around the Covid-19 pandemic head on, that of PPE provision when the country was apparently running on fumes. Being a frontline Care Home provider looking after 3,300 vulnerable residents with over 5,000 staff. PPE sourcing and continued supply was paramount to keeping our residents safe, our team members safe and our business safe and the risk to all of those was not only life threatening but business threatening too. No pressure then!
