The Submarine Delivery Agency’s (SDA) Supply Management Programme helps us reveal and mitigate sub-tier supply chain risk in this critical national endeavour. The collaborative approach the team has adopted has not only illuminated fragility and risks deep within the supply chain, but crucially has systematically addressed these risks through collaborative interventions with our industry partners; harnessing the strength of the Enterprise rather than acting as a stand-alone organisation. We are also sharing our approach widely across the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and wider Government to build strength and resilience at the heart of supply chains that deliver critical public services.
