Stronger Together


North West London Integrated Care System (NWL ICS) is a collective of 9 NHS Organisations (8 Trusts and an Integrated Care Board (ICB)). Prior to this transformation programme, procurement across NWL ICS was decentralised with 140 staff working across seven different procurement teams (in different legal entities).

The Stronger Together transformation programme aimed to create one centralised procurement function across eight NHS Trusts and one ICB, bringing together £6.4bn of total expenditure to be proactively managed under one Shared Procurement Service, called North West London Procurement Services (NWLPS). To improve services for patients, increase service resilience and deliver efficiency savings.
