Maximising Mutual Value Through Effective Supplier Relationship Management

In January 2018, the Sellafield Ltd and State of Flux Supplier Relationship Management programme was developed and has grown into a market leading initiative, with 19 relationships in flight totalling an annual expenditure of approximately £900M.

Underpinning the Sellafield Transformation Programme, the initiative has become business as usual. The business plans for these relationships continue to drive mutual value, over and above that of the signed contracts, delivering financial and non-financial benefits.

The approach has been recognised as a market leader with best practice being shared with key stakeholders, including Cabinet Office, Nuclear Decommissioning Authority and other businesses.
