The Zero Carbon Project

Schneider Electric has implemented ‘The Zero Carbon Project’ to achieve 50% reduction of the operational emissions (scope 1 + 2) from its top 1000 suppliers by 2025.

Globally, 1019 suppliers are formally onboarded and have committed to strong decarbonization. More than 70% of participating suppliers are embarking on emission reduction trajectory for the first time. To facilitate supplier transition, an extensive supplier support framework is deployed, comprising of mentoring, exclusive access to web portal with latest trainings, advisory support from Schneider Electric. In less than one year ~40% of suppliers have shown average reduction of ~4% of carbon emission.
