In 2015 Nationwide established four high performing Network and IT service delivery partnerships, focussed on continuously improving service for our members and delivering excellent operational resilience. Recognising the significant achievements of all parties in delivering the services, Nationwide challenged our Partners to respond our key deal principles in return for extend their contracts on improved commercial terms which maximised flexibility and minimised the potential risk of service disruption at a time when Nationwide was undertaking a major technology transformation and far reaching Operating model changes. What followed was and excellent example of collaborative working and the results were outstanding.
