National Highways' Scheme Delivery Framework revolutionised our procurement processes, driving choice and competition across the UK.

We not only re-imagined how to structure the framework to provide better support localised delivery that reduces cost and carbon, but we also re-designed procurement processes with the specific intent of making them more accessible to smaller businesses that would normally discount public procurement opportunities due to time/cost constraints and perceived complexity. This £3.6bn framework has secured a significantly diverse supply chain, better social value outcomes and generated £227m in savings.
