Tasked with driving the recovery and growth of London Luton Airport (LLA) following the devastation of the pandemic, LLA procurement team focused on supporting the local supply chain and local community sustainably.

Key achievements were: •Adoption of the Real Living Wage (RLW) for suppliers •Increasing local supply spend - 53% of spend going to businesses within a 20-mile radius •Investing £15 million, saving 430 local jobs •Returning LLA to sustainable profit •Supporting local councils with £54 million of local investment •Producing our first Sustainable Supply Chain Charter •Supporting the progression of women into senior management roles within the procurement team
