Office@Home was setup in short timescales at the start of UK national lockdown, to ensure every colleague had simple and easy access to equipment required to carry out their role safely and comfortably from home.
Group Sourcing led a small cross-business team which identified and aligned the suppliers needed to deliver this. The team established COVID-19 safety controls, and reconfigured existing IT systems to enable simple ordering. A supply chain logistics exercise was developed with the suppliers and internal property management team to deliver safely and directly to colleagues’ homes at a time when there was limited courier service capacity.
