KFM was a partner in King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust emergency response to COVID-19. At the peak of the pandemic, King’s, one of the UK’s largest NHS trusts, admitted almost 800 additional patients.

The trust was under unprecedented pressure and KFM’s Procurement & Supply Chain team had to manage King’s increased demand for vital clinical supplies amidst a global shortage and disrupted supplier networks.

The team’s skills, systems, and relationships enabled effective and efficient collaboration with clinical, technical and finance partners at King’s, as well as with suppliers, ensuring patient and staff safety at the trust was never compromised.
