Innocent’s new carbon neutral factory ‘blender’ is a factory that has thought about sustainability at every-step of the design process. By locating it in the Port of Rotterdam, the supplychain was shortened by 20%. We’re all about inspiring wider-change, so to take steps further, zero-emission transportation was introduced on the main ingredient route between city centre of Rotterdam and the blender. innocent has succeeded in putting four fifty-tonnes zero-emission tankers on the road that are a blueprint for further scale-up, this is a world first for a 50mt e-truck! Result? A reduction of carbon-emissions to zero and an improved efficiency-payload.
