We recognised that by 2027, JLR’s biggest contribution to carbon emissions would be through JLR’s Supply Chain. We knew we needed to urgently convince our business to address these supply chain emissions as, decisions we were making now, would impact our ability to be net zero in the future.

Global Purchasing created a cross functional campaign, based on discretionary efforts of JLR environmental enthusiasts and upwardly influenced the business. By doing this, we transformed the business mindset - our work has resulted in one of the world’s most significant sustainability commitments to supply chain emissions within the entire manufacturing industry.
