2nd tier Supplier Diversity Initiative Europe, Middle East & Africa

IBM’s commitment to diverse suppliers is demonstrated by its rich corporate history. Founded in 1968 as IBM’s Minority Supplier Development Program, IBM has placed billions of dollars of business with its diverse suppliers since then. Understanding the value which supplier diversity provided to IBM, in 2002 we began expanding our US program globally. Today, IBM’s 1st-tier program has expanded to every country in which IBM does business. In 2018, the 2nd-tier program was expanded globally. IBM’s Program Director for Global Supplier Diversity , Michael K. Robinson has corporate responsibility for implementing and measuring the success and growth of these programs.
