Enabling Successful Procurement Planning

Sellafield is the largest industrial complex and second biggest construction site in the UK, delivering circa 600 live construction projects, has 6,000 buildings across 6km2, 20 external site locations, with the supply chain playing a vital part in the delivery of the mission with spend more than £1.5bn annually.

The Operational Excellence Team is part of the Supply Chain Directorate and comprises of procurement practitioners, responsible for enhancing the Supply Chain directorate performance through effective planning and best practice. This application discusses the activity and presents the output of an improvement initiative in procurement planning.
