Diageo set out on a Procurement transformation journey more than 2 years ago with a clear vision, to be “the most trusted and respected business partner, fuelling growth and value, every day, everywhere.” In service of that vision, Diageo partnered with Deloitte on a 5-month rapid gap analysis and resolution across the buying experience through Coupa which put users solely at the heart of the journey.

The initiative rolled out in accelerated 4–6 week sprints to deploy transformative changes, implementing the tools and capabilities needed to sustain enhancements which touched over 6000 users and more than 12,000 suppliers.
