TEAM 2100: Integrated Enterprise Team Delivery protecting the Thames Estuary

Thames Estuary Asset Management 2100 (TEAM2100) programme is the Environment Agency’s 10-year, £300+ million programme to refurbish and replace tidal flood defences in London and the Thames estuary from now to 2100. The defences include the Thames Barrier and 350 kilometres of flood protection. This system safeguards 1.4 million people and £321 billion worth of property. To deliver this critical service, an innovative integrated delivery model has been implemented with Defra group Commercial, EA operational teams, engineering and programme management firm Jacobs, construction partner Balfour Beatty and other specialist contractors which has delivered significant delivery efficiencies and value for money.
