Corporate IT carbon footprint mapping & baselining

AXA Procurement managed and leveraged an opportune RFP process, to drive the creation of an initiative to discover a meaningful picture of greenhouse gas emissions arising from AXA’s dependency on its IT systems, infrastructure and services. The modelling and learning to date is already informing AXA’s sourcing and system design decisions as well as underpinning a new emissions reduction strategy that will help AXA deliver against ‘net zero’. Further, other sourcing projects and AXA operations are now able to replicate some or all of what’s been achieved with the expert support of Cognizant, AXA’s newly appointed strategic technology partner.
