CO2 Risk Mitigation

Due to escalating Natural Gas prices resulting in severe disruptions and shortages of CO2 across the whole of mainland Europe and the UK, production at Molson Coors and our contract pack partner production sites were left in an extremely vulnerable position. Molson Coors had to work quickly, diligently and cross functionally in order to identify and approve alternative supply options. These included the movement of our own recovered CO2 between our production facilities, utilisation of our European supplier network and sourcing direct supply from renewable sources, subsequently eliminating the reliance on processes involving natural gas moving forward.
