Within two years, Checkout.com’s valuation increased from $2bn to $15bn, headcount rose from 200 to 1,000+, and we have expanded into 23 countries. Creating a greenfield team is tough but in one of the fastest-growing companies on the planet, it is immensely challenging! Stakeholder relationships were established rapidly, Procurement resources added at pace, and lengthy processes were reinvented. After 24 months we are a team of ten, are responsible for areas traditionally out-of-scope for Procurement and, are implementing market-leading Source-to-Pay technology. Most importantly, we have earned stakeholders’ trust and Leadership empower us to actively influence the future of Checkout.com.
