CBRE Net Zero Supply Chain

CBRE Procurement needed to identify its supply chain emissions baseline, measure suppliers’ actual (primary) emissions, identify hotspots and track improvements.

Our supply chain includes 132,500 suppliers, $31 billion of spend directly and managing $55 billion through our clients systems. CBRE has committed to be Net Zero by 2040 (half by 2030) for our operations, a significant portion of Client emissions, and through the value chain. Most of the emissions are in Scope 3 and purchasing. CBRE partnered with EcoVadis initially and Emitwise to ran a project to validate a new approach in collecting more accurate emissions data from our suppliers.
