Over the last 18 months the Clarks GNFR Procurement Team has been rebuilt into a highly effective and efficient team. This was done in part by increasing team moral, resetting team objectives and giving people clear responsibilities to manage their own spend categories. The team exceeded all their KPIs in 2022 and put the ground work in to achieve record savings of £15m+ in 2023 despite the headwinds and inflationary presures in the market. The transformation and turn around in the performance and culture of the team has provided Clarks with tangible results that have improved the bottom line.
