The Alstom UK Material Panning team successfully managed the material availability risk while the UK factory went through the production ramp-up. In less than 6 months, while the production has increased by 50%, there have been no production line stoppages due to material shortages. Under the leadership of Chris Jones and Chris Hall, supported by Robin Agarwal, the Material Planning team has not only managed the risk but built confidence across the Alstom business.
